Tallying the goals is pretty much a no-brainer though awarding assists
is a bit dicier. We take as guiding factors merit and memory. A direct
assist is always counted. If you fed the guy that fed the guy that scored,
you might get a point depending on whether someone stepped up to speak the
praises of your brilliant playmaking.
In all cases, awards are based on the imperfect recollections and eyesight
of the scorekeepers, so if you see any injustices here, shout it out and we'll fix it.
Since the standards for an assist are somewhat relaxed, we give more credit
to goals in the total tally - 2 for a goal, 1 for an assist.
